I wish I was still in elementary school, where you have to write those “What I Did This Summer” essays, because I have a great topic. No, I didn’t go on any exotic trips, but I did have the best internship experience I could have asked for, thanks to the Brett team. I walked in on the first day with an understanding of public relations that was pretty limited to marketing within college organizations. In three months, I gained experience in media relations, crisis communication, political campaigns, and even data management. I’ve had a lot of fun along the way, but the most important part of this internship has to be a renewed sense that public relations is the right career choice for me. And I can only credit that discovery to everyone at Brett who gave me this opportunity. Thank you so much!
