In the news today... more about the situation in Libya, Gov. Scott Walker, the earthquake in New Zealand, etc. However, the really big story today seems to be about Lindsey Lohan. The presence of the story about her most recent court appearance on the home page of every big news site reflects the obsession people have with famous people. Let's stop for a second and ask...what is Lohan famous for again? Paris Hilton turned 30 a few weeks ago, and that same question can be asked about her. The Kardashians are yet another example. What have these people really done? Besides a second rate reality show, grand theft and partying, not a whole lot. Clearly the standards for what constitutes a celebrity are becoming lower and lower.
I wonder if Paris Hilton on her birthday was asking herself what she has really done with her life... The answer is pretty obvious...
