It makes one wonder

Read a great story in the New York Times this morning on former Giants' star Ron Johnson. He is not really remembered much today -- he starred for the team in the down years of the 1970s when the Jets were the darlings of the press and media. If he had come a long a few years earlier, Johnson would be a household name. Same thing if he had come a long a few years later.

Sadly, according to the Times piece, he has trouble remembering his own name. He is one of many former NFL player suffering from dementia and alzheimers. However, this is not just something that affects former players. One of our clients, The Woodlands at Furman, offers a fully scaled assisted living suite designed to take care of our aging population. Johnson is living a similar facility in New Jersey. These are great places and there is a demand as people such as Johnson, who is 63, need them at a much younger age.

It makes one wonder.
