Menace to Society

We love when people complain about the ethics and morals of the people around them -- especially those younger than them. Read the comments on Internet sites and you will quickly see this trend. Anytime someone under age 20 is arrested or charged with something, there is a quick rush to decry this generation as morally bankrupt, lazy, cheating and what have you.
Today we provide the counterpoint. Meet William Toye. According to the New York Times, Toye is a long-time artistic forger who has evaded the law for decades. He is 79 and a complete bad ass The article paints a picture of a fascinating man in love with his own mind -- clearly intelligent, but obviously a huckster. He basically repaints famed works of art and then sells them. He denies it even though he just pleaded guilty to it.
Our favorite part, though, was after his plea hearing where he pulled out his inner diva that even the likes of Lindsay Lohan would blush at. The almost octogenarian attacked a cameraman with his cane. Hence the picture above. This man is clearly a menace to society.
