Countdown for Christmas: Day 16

For the 25 days leading into Christmas, Brett Inc. is talking music. Christmas music. Sit back and enjoy.

Some things just can’t be explained. Dominick the Italian Donkey is one of them. A 1960 hit for a man named Lou Monte, who made a career out of singing horribly insensitive songs about Italian heritage. Others songs in his repertoire including a pasta eating cat (not Garfield) and George Washington eating cold pizza while crossing the Delaware.

And yet, many of our friends think this is the greatest Christmas song of all time.
