No way around this one

One of the jobs of a public relations company is to help combat problems both big and small our clients face. It can be a daunting task, but many times we can find some sliver of hope and good to build a case for out client's best interests.
And sometimes, the task can be almost insurmountable. The people doing public relations for British Petroleum must be feeling that after a New York Times piece this morning expertly dissected the final moments on the BP oil rig that exploded in the Gulf of Mexico last spring. The most damning statement? That every single defense system on the rig failed either through human or computer error. This sends a clear message. This was no freak accident that caused the catastrophe. This was a complete collapse of the system.
There is no way around this one. BP is in for a series of brutal lumps and bruises.
